I am a socially engaged feminist artist with an interest in connections between people. I prefer to immerse myself among young people on their journey to 'adulthood'. I focus on those who feel unseen in society, often relegated to the label of 'outsider'. They seem to face a confrontation with their environment in order to be themselves. It is my goal to tell their stories on a global level where others can relate.

Within my lens-based work, I explore themes such as love, (searching for) home, identity, and desire.

As an artist, the bond I establish with the people I follow is crucial. I believe that one can only truly see someone when there is a bond of trust. Therefore, with my projects, I offer an intimate and personal glimpse into the lives of those I follow.
